12/1/2023 0 Comments Northgard guide![]() I mean I know for sure that I'm doing some things wrong and haven't explored the game fully and I kinda wanna know, but kinda don't, so your guide was good for that. And may not be the best way forward in generalĮh I'm unfamiliar with the meta and the whole thing in general, so hearing a little bit about it was interesting. But such actions are more likely to land you in hot water when playing goat more often or not. "hey look, unused farmland, I should place a farm there, Oh a lore rock, i should max out my lore". It's very common for people to follow common sense. Goat looks straightforward, but they don't exactly play straightforward. And you know, it's nice to keep knowledge to myself, so we can win against most people. I do share my knowledge with my raven teammate (favourite format 2v2), but it's in fragmented bits and pieces, It takes a while time to make a proper guide like above. Gave myself a week to make it, and it took 11 days unfortunately. And thought i should show some of my own knowledge on that. I saw a couple of consecutive posts of goat being weak in a row, about how their lores are weak (true), and they could use recruitment (which would probably make them OP, consider the barricades!). Nah, I haven't made anything else public yet. I took a quick look on the guides and your post history and couldn't find anything else you've written if anything sooo. the AI just fine and don't really struggle but I have wondered how to optimise just a little better and understand a little better. I never really looked into optimising my play, I just did what felt right and yeah stuff with stone has always felt 'off' but I've never been too sure how to proceed cus eventually they complain about houses. Aka, to the silo, an upgraded farm is better.Ĭorrelate these two facts together, and you can come to the conclusion that the silo is still worse than building a farm at the start of the game (even if you already have a farm there), an action that, I'm already saying is not a powerful option However, in the silo's eyes, it's closer to 60% of a farm, whilst upgrading a farm is a bit over an 80% increase in the silos eyes. i.e, direct income rather than improving on foraging, which is why it's so powerful. The sheepfold generates mostly "true" income. Once the farm is upgraded, its efficiency is more in line with a standard farm, and can be appealing to buy. Without any sort of benefit on a standard farm, the food silo barely maintains its self-sufficiency, losing 80-90% of its profits to its maintenance, pretty much never repaying itself. Yeah, I know it does work, though it does seem in contary to the guide there is a reason why it's not included. ![]() Skimmed through it and it's very interesting and practical info. It helps.Ĭorpserulre: cool guide on Goat there. As much as I played goat, I did my best to place sheepfold on a food source tile, to get bonus with one silo on both food sources.
